AI Literacy Academy Cohort 3 Commencement: When Ambitious People Choose to Lead

While most people are still debating whether AI will affect their careers, ambitious professionals from across multiple continents just committed to mastering it first.

Today marks the official commencement of AI Literacy Academy’s third cohort—bringing together business owners, professionals, and freelancers who understand that AI skills have moved from optional to essential.

These participants watched previous cohorts transform their professional trajectories and decided they wanted the same results. They’re not waiting to see what happens with AI. They’re positioning themselves to lead the transformation in their industries.

The professionals ready to master AI for real business impact

Angela Uzor Enenmoh runs Virtual Administrative Assistance and Health Coaching services from Lagos. She’s “already using AI in my business, but I am seeking to learn how to further optimize it’s usage to help me streamline, and automate tasks in my business.”

Francis Oba, a Pastor, Writer, and Content Creator from Edo State, joined for “the ability of AI to increase my work efficiency, productivity and save time.” His motivation shows how AI literacy applies across every industry.

Chisom Jane Nkwah works in project management in Lagos and her goal is clear: “Becoming an AI PM.” She sees AI integration as essential for staying relevant in project management.

From healthcare to agriculture, from logistics to journalism, the pattern repeats: professionals who recognize that AI literacy determines who leads their industries over the next decade.

The global reach that proves AI creates universal opportunity

Cohort 3 spans from Malawi to Italy, from Liberia to Nigeria. What connects these participants isn’t geography—it’s recognition that AI skills create opportunities regardless of location.

Emmanuel Maxon, a student from Blantyre, Malawi, wants to “learn valuable AI skills that I can offer to foreign clients (freelancing).” He understands that AI expertise allows him to compete globally from anywhere.

Grace Chioma Baba-Seigbeh, an Entrepreneur and Tax Compliance officer from Liberia, captures what many feel: “The endless possibilities of AI! Plus the opportunity to not just be apart of the future, but dominate it!”

M.K. Abubakar, an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Entrepreneur from Kano, joined for the “ability to make work and generate meaningful ideas better.” When medical professionals see AI as essential for their practice evolution, the transformation spans every industry.

The shift from efficiency tool to income creator

Multiple participants mentioned creating new income streams through AI skills—a shift from viewing AI as just efficiency tool to seeing it as income generator.

Fateemah Ali Muhammad, who works in customer service in Kano, wants “to learn AI as a means of creating an alternative source of income.”

Edokwe Uzochukwu, a manager in a manufacturing company in Anambra, wants to “help make my work easier and know how to monetize AI for passive income.”

These professionals understand that AI skills create multiple value streams: improving current work while opening new opportunities through freelancing, consulting, and service delivery.

The educators preparing to share AI knowledge

Established educators and thought leaders joined Cohort 3 to enhance their teaching capabilities.

Chioma Chukwuemeka (known as “Oma Sweetheart on Radio”), a Development and Social impact journalist and broadcaster from Anambra, already runs The LEAD Masterclass. She explains: “I run The LEAD Masterclass, and we already use AI. I am a lover of AI and Technology… but seeing an academy run by an actual human excites me. Our experiences vary in teaching and learning, hence I love to improve the knowledge I have about AI so I can effectively share my knowledge with others, help them use AI and Technology for development and Social change.”

These participants aren’t learning AI for personal use only—they’re building capabilities to help others in their organizations and communities.

The mix of experience and ambition

Cohort 3 brings together established professionals and ambitious students who plan to enter the job market with AI skills already developed.

Hadison Habila Joel, a Nurse from Adamawa, wants “to become a tech professional, and to be able to use AI to increase productivity and efficiency in my work.” She represents healthcare professionals who see AI as both practice enhancement and career expansion.

Blessing Ekaneam, a student from Port Harcourt, joined simply “to become a tech professional.” She’s building AI skills as foundation knowledge for her entire career.

Olawoore Nafisat Eniola works as a writer and content manager for an online publishing company in Kaduna. Her motivation shows current AI users want systematic training: “Most times, we incorporate AI in our content work and as a manager, I’d love to know more about exploring AI tools to create better contents and also to increase productivity. I also want to learn the skills to be able to monetize it where I currently work and elsewhere.”

What previous graduates proved possible

Earlier cohorts returned to their markets as the most AI-capable individuals in their environments. Marketing consultants command premium rates for AI-enhanced services. Project managers became strategic leaders with time for innovation. Business owners scaled beyond previous constraints.

The pattern across continents was clear: AI literacy doesn’t just make you more efficient—it makes you irreplaceable.

Cohort 3 participants can see exactly what systematic AI education creates: measurable competitive advantages, expanded income opportunities, and positioning as the go-to AI expert in their organizations.

The next 30 days that reshape careers

Over the next month, Cohort 3 participants will develop capabilities that position them as irreplaceable assets in their organizations and indispensable resources for their clients.

They’ll master prompt engineering that consistently delivers professional-quality results. They’ll build automation workflows that eliminate hours of routine work weekly. They’ll develop AI-enhanced analysis capabilities that provide insights others miss.

Most importantly, they’ll develop AI thinking—the ability to identify opportunities, evaluate solutions, and implement strategic changes that create lasting competitive advantages.

Alade Aliru Adewale works in Agricultural Engineering with focus on “Application of AI in Agriculture” in Lagos. His excitement about “automative ability with increased productivity” shows how AI literacy applies across every sector.

Olasehinde Israel, an Entrepreneur and Sales Manager from Kwara, joined for “the ability of AI to increase my work efficiency and productivity”—representing business owners who see AI as operational necessity.

Elewa remilekun, a Regional operations manager from Ondo State, wants “to expand my knowledge with AI, and increase my productivity within a timeline.” Her time-focused approach shows the urgency many professionals feel.

The choice between leading and following

While Cohort 3 begins their transformation today, millions of other professionals face the same decision these participants made: learn AI systematically now, or struggle to catch up later.

The difference between early adopters and late adopters isn’t just timing—it’s positioning. Early adopters help define how AI gets implemented in their industries. Late adopters follow standards that others established.

Where this movement creates lasting change

AI Literacy Academy’s impact now spans multiple continents, creating a global network of professionals who understand that AI literacy isn’t just about keeping up with technology—it’s about leading transformation in their industries.

These graduates return to their organizations as change agents who can evaluate AI opportunities, implement strategic solutions, and train others on effective AI use. They become the bridge between technological possibility and business reality.

Cohort 3’s journey begins today, but their influence will shape how business gets done for years to come. They join a movement that’s not just adapting to AI—it’s defining how AI integration creates value, builds competitive advantages, and accelerates professional success.

The question isn’t whether AI will transform your industry. The question is whether you’ll be among those leading that transformation or struggling to keep up with those who started sooner.

Cohort 3 chose to lead. Applications for Cohort 4 begin soon.
