A Milestone for the Academy and for Africa’s AI Future
Our founder at AI Literacy Academy, Fii Stephen Michael, has been accepted into the INSEAD AI Founder Sprint 2025 joining a cohort of innovators guided by professors and practitioners from INSEAD, Harvard Business School, MIT, and Wharton.
Now underway, the eight-week Sprint brings selected founders together for mentorship in AI venture building, rapid prototyping, and product development, all equity free.
This achievement is the result of a journey built on years of hands-on work with AI, and a determination to make it practical for real people.
From teaching AI to building with the world’s best
For the past three years, Fii Stephen has been deep in the trenches of AI implementation, first through projects and technical practice, and now through education.
In launching AI Literacy Academy earlier this year, building on that experience, he created a platform that shows business owners, professionals, and marketers how to actually use AI, not just talk about it.
Since its launch, AI Literacy Academy has already trained over 550 professionals and business owners across industries.
Being selected for the INSEAD AI Founder Sprint 2025 is more than a personal achievement. It is a signal of global recognition, proof that Africa’s AI leaders are not just learning global systems, but shaping them.
Every lesson comes back home
Inside the INSEAD AI Founder Sprint, Stephen is learning new systems that will directly improve the student experience at AI Literacy Academy.
From workshops with the SUNDAI Club (MIT and Harvard affiliated) to masterclasses with experts like Ethan Mollick, co-director of the Generative AI Lab at Wharton, each session is translated into insights that strengthen our programs.
For our learners, this means future cohorts will be richer and more globally informed.
And as these lessons are embedded into every program we run, one truth becomes clearer: this milestone is not just about recognition, it is about Africa claiming its place at the forefront of the AI economy.
Follow our journey and see how these global insights will shape future programs, partnerships, and opportunities across Africa.
