Granting an AI agent access to your systems is no longer a technical experiment. It is a trust decision. This could mean approval steps, activity logs, or alerts when certain actions are taken. Human oversight is not a sign of mistrust. It is a safeguard that ensures accountability and helps teams learn how the agent behaves in real situations. 5. Treat access as temporary and review it regularly System access should never be considered permanent by default. Roles change, workflows evolve, and tools improve. What made sense three months ago may no longer be appropriate today. Schedule regular reviews to confirm that the agent still needs the level of access it has. Remove permissions that are no longer required and update guardrails as your systems grow.
